The traditional house has been in family ownership since 1906 (4th generation). It is situated in a privileged position on the lakeside promenade, in the immediate vicinity of restaurants, cafés, the boutiques of the Via Nassa shopping mile and the renowned LAC – Lugano Arte & Cultura.
The International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel was awarded the honorary title “Historic Hotel” by the ICOMOS jury of UNESCO in 2007 and is now a listed building. Although it has always been adapted and modernised to the needs of its guests, the hotel has lost none of its historical charm.
The cosy rooms – each individually designed – a lounge bar and the magnificent garden with pool give the hotel a special touch.
The hotel has its own underground car park with 36 spaces.

The Hotel International au Lac was opened in 1906 and is now a listed building. Regular conversions and renovations have turned each room into a unique space. Size and decor vary from room to room.
