The Hotel Restaurant Engel in Stans borders on the unique village square with the large baroque church and the town hall in the middle of the pretty village centre. Surrounded by a magnificent landscape with Lake Lucerne and the summit parade of the Alps. In 2015 the hosts Patricia and Sören Schwitzky took over the “Angel”. From April 2019, all rooms have been converted. This means that a total of 22 rooms (some air-conditioned) are now available in the Superior category. Pampering the guests with proven and new ideas is the incentive of the Engel team day after day. The hotel is a symbiosis of modern comfort and trouvaillas from the past.

Our restaurant area includes both the stylishly furnished restaurant and the cosy Stübli parlour. Our spacious terrace with views over the village square invites guests to linger in cooler temperatures as well as on sunny days.
