Our guests have the choice of individually furnished rooms with a total of 68 beds. Cosy ambience and inspiring views. This is what Chesa Randolina has to offer, thus making it a place where one would always be happy to return. Most of the rooms are decorated in typical Engadine style with native pinewood. All have a bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer, radio, direct-dial telephone, WLAN and mini-safe. For a small fee you can also have satellite television. Some also have a balcony or terrace. All rooms are located in a quiet setting with an impressive view of the alpine world of Engadine. Pets are welcome. The use of the parking spaces in front of the hotel is free.
The views of the Alps from the windows are classic. But each and every moment is presented anew by the changing influences of light and air, sun and moon. While some guests like to return each time to “their” favourite room, others prefer a change. The house is spacious enough to accommodate individual needs and desires.
For half-board menu the chef Didier Haettel obtains the carefully selected raw materials mainly from local organic farmers or from regional suppliers – whenever possible in organic quality. The menu, which changes daily, can be ordered as vegetarian or full-fledged on request.
Guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to wine. More than 330 wines from over 150 vintners are tempting. No wonder, not only the swallows (Rumantsch: Las Randolinas) like to return to Sils-Baselgia again and again.
Over lunch in the fireplace hall or on the sun terrace various delicacies and specialities from Grisons such as “Organic-Risotto” or “Krautpizzokel” are offered. In the generous fireplace hall/bar there is also a rich offer of homemade cakes and cakes.
In our à-la-carte restaurant, Stüvetta, we serve grilled delicacies, rich meat fondues, cheese fondue and various dishes from Grisons in the evening. A reservation until 13.00 of the respective day is necessary.
Goût-Mieux” is the label for the Swiss gastronomy, which attaches importance to natural pleasure. In contrast to other labels, it distinguishes exactly what is the be-all and end-all and thus the basis of a high-quality cuisine: the ingredients used! Restaurants that have been awarded the “Goût-Mieux” label attach particular importance to the use of organic, animal-friendly and environmentally friendly ingredients. Seasonality, regionality and the fresh preparation of the dishes are further criteria to which they are committed by conviction.
